Terms Of Service

Thank you for considering our matchmaking services. We are professional matchmakers in Canada, and the following terms and conditions apply to all clients who engage our services:

Services Offered: We offer personalized matchmaking services, including an

initial consultation, ongoing matchmaking services, and coaching.

Eligibility: Clients must be at least 18 years of age and have legal capacity to

enter into an agreement. Clients must also be honest and open about their personal information, preferences, and relationship goals.

Fees: Fees for our matchmaking services will be discussed and agreed upon with clients prior to beginning the matchmaking process. Fees are non-

refundable, but may be transferable to another person at our discretion.

Confidentiality: We take confidentiality very seriously, and will not disclose any client information to any third party without express written consent, except where required by law. Clients must also maintain the confidentiality of any information provided to them during the matchmaking process.

Responsibilities: As matchmakers, we will use our best efforts to provide

accurate and personalized matchmaking services to clients. However, clients are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information, and for making their own decisions regarding potential matches.

Cancellations and Refunds: Clients may cancel their matchmaking services

at any time, but fees are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, we may consider a partial refund or credit towards future services.

Liability: We are not responsible for any losses or damages incurred by clients during the matchmaking process. Clients acknowledge that any matches are based on their own preferences and decisions, and that there is no guarantee of a successful match.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes between UpDate and clients will be

resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of the province of Alberta.

Termination: Either party may terminate the matchmaking agreement at

any time for any reason. If we terminate the agreement, we will refund any unused fees to the client.

Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and

construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Alberta. Any legal action arising from these terms and conditions shall be brought in the courts of the province of Alberta. By engaging UpDates services as a matchmaker, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time, and clients will be

notified of any changes. If clients have any questions or concerns, they should contact us directly to discuss them.
